The Girl Who SavedAn angel, who bore twin stars for eyes, flew past the city Paris, which lights and foreign languages floated up into the sky. He loved the fresh air and the sound of a city not ready to sleep. The sky twinkled knowingly as if it had a secret that was being kept from the world. If it wasn’t for the grayed wings that protruded from his back that enabled him to soar through the crisp night air, he wouldn’t call himself an angel, hardly an angel. He sinned, he lusted, and at times found envy control him just like any human would, but it was the mere fact that he wasn’t human, an angel. He never saved anyone before, well, maybe one, but then againThe Girl Who Saved

FlyTake wing to the ear of sweet nothing. Fly through this thick air, over the desecrated grounds, into these tainted clouds. Taste the world with nothing but passion. Lick thy lips in joyous after-taste of fantasy, filled with gluttony for this desirable high, this lust. And when those feet touch the ground only then do the wings fold and hide, reality replaces the endless clouds, the lust, the greed, and the fantasy. In till the time when those wings can take flight, reality breaks this vision.Fly

I Can Only Hold On For So LongAs dawn and dusk press closer together, I wonder will I ever find you. Will you be sitting on a park bench in a wintery blizzard, the snow whipping in your face, the tears frozen to your cheek. A black sillotte in a winter wonderland. When I finally reach you will you be to dead for me to care for? I told you I'd wait for you.I Can Only Hold On For So Long
Maybe when I wake you'll be there to quiet my fears and push the strands of hair framing my face behind my ears. Hold me tight as I whisper how much you've saved me, only to find out you were never really there.
Perhaps you are a star in the silvery night sky. The same star I look to with tear

The Rhythm of EcstasySlowly the lights dim leaving me in anticipation. I close my eyes against the silence waiting to hear the first strike of the drum and when it does come, I feel as if my heart jumps and I gasp, feeling the beat threw my veins. I feel it move, glide down my arms, and touch the tip of my fingers. The man shrouded in shadow cradles his guitar to his body and I await the first pluck of the string and when it does come the electrical current shoots through my limbs like wild fire all meeting at my very center burning brightly. In an urgent rush the lights reveal the musicians. Their eyes closed feeling the exact passion thaThe Rhythm of Ecstasy
